Educators From Argentina Visit Nova Middle

On October 5th Nova Middle School was host to a delegation of 45 educators from Argentina. The group was here to learn about our educational system. Dr. Garcia spoke to the group about the school’s organizational structure and afterward he facilitated a lively discussion comparing and contrasting school funding.

Of great interest to the group was the level of technology that the school makes available to the students and staff for the purpose of instruction. The visit concluded with a tour of the school. Our visitors were very complimentary of the learning that is taking place at Nova as well as their chats with teachers and students.

Having spent the morning with Broward School Superintendent James Notter and the afternoon at Nova Middle School, the delegation of educators from Argentina stated that the day had been very productive. Once again, Nova Middle School was able to show that we are intelligent, sophisticated, and hold high expectations of ourselves.
